A Family Recipe
That Started It All

Seasons Pizza was born in 2009 when Marco and Elena Rossi decided to share their grandmother's treasured pizza recipe with the Wilmington community. What started as a small, 12-table restaurant on Philadelphia Pike quickly became a neighborhood institution, drawing crowds who came for the food and stayed for the warmth.

Our name reflects our philosophy — we celebrate the changing seasons by rotating our specials with the freshest local produce available. Each quarter brings new creations inspired by what's best in the market, keeping our menu exciting while honoring timeless classics.

2009

The Doors Open

Marco and Elena Rossi opened the original Seasons Pizza at 1524 Philadelphia Pike with just 12 tables and a single wood-fired oven — and a line around the block on opening night.

2011

First Award Win

Seasons Pizza was named "Best Pizza in Delaware" by Wilmington Foodies Magazine — the first of many recognitions that put us on the regional culinary map.

2013

Full Renovation & Expansion

We doubled our dining room, added a dedicated catering kitchen, and introduced our iconic seasonal menu concept — rotating specials with every new season.

2016

Farm Partnerships Launch

We formalized sourcing relationships with five local Delaware farms, committing to using regional produce for at least 60% of our ingredients year-round.

2019

Online Ordering Launched

We brought Seasons Pizza to your doorstep with online ordering and delivery — making it easier than ever to enjoy our handcrafted pizzas at home.

2024

15 Years & Still Rising

Celebrating 15 incredible years, we launched our new catering program, renovated our outdoor patio, and served our 50,000th handcrafted pizza — with thousands more to come.
